Ilustratour 2014 (Part 1 of 3)

Part 2 and Part 3

Hello! This time I want to share my experience during Ilustratour, an international festival of illustration, which took place in Valladolid, Spain, this month.

The first week, Alina and I had a workshop called Every picture tells a story with Rotraut Susanne Berner, German graphic designer and illustrator. All the Ilustratour workshops were held at the Museo Patio Herreriano.

Instead of an introduction we had to draw ourselves as animals: 

Later Susanne drew the entire class based on our animal drawings:

The goal during this workshop was to create the images 
that have a meaning with the help of these questions:

We placed our finished work on the floor, 
so over a few days it got filled with images:

The table was always full of Susanne's books for us to look at...
