Ilustratour 2014 (Part 3 of 3)

This is the last post about my experience during Ilustratour. During our second week in Valladolid, Alina and I participated in a workshop called Illustrative Quintessence by Vitali Konstantinov. We were asked to work in black and white. In five days, we tried out all sorts of exercises and materials: making collage portraits of our colleagues, creating abstract comics, drawing emotions (in a representative and abstract way), making a three panel comic about a drunk giraffe that ate a black clown, designing a postcard based on "Bluebeard", sculpting with plasticine, and drawing a non-fiction illustration of an exotic animal.
